The Glory Shed BBQ - Sunday, 9th February 2003
The hottest day in five years did not deter the majority of the GSSC members who had booked their place at this year's annual BBQ for members, family and friends.
Nearly 170 turned up for the event and were joined by Mich d'Avray and several of the key players. The day was too hot for a robust game of soccer but Terry Bozo the Clown kept the kids active with various games and all kids went home with a prize, including three new soccer balls kindly donated by Eamonn from the Glory Shop. There was plenty of food, laughs and the beverages flowed ever so easily, to avoid the effects of dehydration of course.
Well done to all the committee for their efforts in organising but especially to the cooks, Dave, Gary, Ken and Martin, and to Terry, Margo and Leanne.
